All Access: Chasing Cross- Book One by Karolyn James

This book is listed as a Romance and that is exactly what it is.

I started reading it and the first two or three chapters seemed really good.  It follows the story of an author and the singer in a rock band.  The book plummets after that.  It is completely unrealistic.  It is impossible to fall in love with someone in less than three days especially when you know almost nothing besides them, and besides, what normal girl has sex with a man that she just met the day before?  Sorry, I'm not sorry when I say how annoyed this book made me due to how unbelievable it was.  And the sex?  Barely descriptive and you can't really picture in your head what they are doing.  One of the best things about books is when they are so descriptive you can almost see what is happening, this book didn't have that.  One thing about romance books is the imagery, being able to visualize that.  It is a different genre than erotica but that doesn't mean you skip out on all the details and just refer to it as "making love" every time they do it.

Another problem that I had with this book was that it was "he said" "she said" a lot of different times and honestly who wants to read a book where the author's main character is an author and all the person can really come up with after the person talks is "said"?

In my opinion the book sucked.  I did have a hard time putting it down but only because I wanted to finish it so that I could write a review and move onto the next book that I wanted to read.

If I were to rate this book it would be one star. . . if that.
